In the end I'd not make any errors but I'd take too long. I endeavoured to get 3 stars in 1.6 at least 10-12 times. This saves, by my estimate, at least a minute or so across all four puzzles in level 1.6. Instead, the piece is already stuck to your mouse cursor and you can just move it to where the piece needs to fit and click your mouse button to drop the piece in pace. On the PC, there is no dragging, dropping and holding the piece with your finger while trying to look around for where it is meant to go. This does not occur when you play the game on a tablet or touch screen - there you have to touch the piece with your finger and drag it across to where it is meant to go on the puzzle. The reason this helps so much is centred on the fact that if you are doing Jigsaw Jam on a desktop computer, the game actually "gives" you the pieces one after the other and "sticks" them to your mouse cursor. I have found a very simple solution to the problem - don't play the level on a tablet, instead, use a mouse on a traditional desktop PC. In addition to the great solution from HolyHa1fDead above, most people are having issues getting three stars in Jam Level 1.6.
